A resilient and dynamic individual with a career in Human Resources spanning almost a decade alongside a proven track record in delivering a diverse range of human resources functions.
After working with two educational institutions as Academic Director & HR instructor in Legacy International College of Arts and Science (LICAS) now Landmark University College; and as HR instructor of Association of Business Executives (ABE, recognized by the UK government’s official qualifications regulatory authority, Ofqual); and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the Institute of Management and Financial Accounting (IMFA), she decided to create two non-profit organizations and a consulting company –The Hope Centre aimed at reaching out to the less privileged targeting children, men and women; the GWEF; committed to supporting the wellness of women, and empowering them to become major key players in today’s society and subsequently creating a braver world and the E2 Consultancy which held seminars on major HR themes in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon upon its creation.
In 2012, she joined the Pan African Institute for Development West Africa (PAID-WA) team where she facilitated the following programs: Institute of Commercial Management; ICM (Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development), Specialized Development Courses (SDC) in: Human Resource Management & Development and Gender Analysis, Planning and Development.
In one of her roles as HR Director at the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB), she was responsible for developing and implementing HR processes and procedures to ensure consistency in organizational design, staffing strategies and talent development across the University which registered huge success and positive outcomes.
In addition to HR, Edith is a trained and qualified teacher with a Professional Graduate Certificate (PGCE) in Modern Foreign languages (MFL) and a wide experience in teaching across various age groups ranging from primary education to University and Professional Education. As an author and a motivational speaker, her contributions on social ills have made a massive impact on people’s daily lives.
She is equally a holder of an M. Sc. in Human Resources Management; CIPD accredited, B. Sc. Political Science and Public Administration and has obtained a number of certifications in child protection awareness; emergency life support; food safety, spiritual leadership.
In her quest for further knowledge, Edith is currently doing a PhD in Human Resources and a Diplôme d’Études
